Covid-19 has affected global growth, which is decreasing rapidly. It has therefore been decided to give the Danish economy a helping hand so that Danish businesses will not be under pressure as far as liquidity is concerned.
Therefore, the deadline for companies for the payment of tax collected at source and social security contributions is postponed temporarily. This will create a liquidity buffer for businesses.
The deadlines for payment are postponed by four months for three monthly instalments (payments for April, May and June). It is with some uncertainty estimated that this will strengthen the liquidity of the businesses by about DKK 90 billion for four months.
